Forum Rules [Please Read Me!]
If you are unsure about a certain rule, contact a staff member to clarify it.
General Rules:
- Do Not Attempt to Bypass Bans! - If you were banned, do not use another account to post here.
- Search - Most questions have been asked before, searching for an answer to a question before posting gets a question answered faster and keeps duplicate content low.
- Please keep avatars and signatures reasonable size.
- The community language is English, and is universally used by all members.
- Do not beg (for likes, reputation, or a position in staff).
- Impersonation will not be tolerated.
- Making threats towards others, servers, or the community itself is unacceptable.
- You are in charge of your own account.
Posting Etiquette:
Use Common Sense.
- No excessive usage of profanity -While we have no objection to sharing your opinions and debating a topic - in fact, we encourage it - with other members of this community, we do not tolerate any excessive profanity whatsoever.
A minor or infrequent usage of profanity is permitted. If you are found to be using profanity frequently, your posts will be deemed of a flaming nature and you will be dealt with accordingly.
- Think Before Posting - Did someone already post a piece of information that your are going to contribute? Am I posting under the correct forum topic?
- Bumping Threads - Posting on a topic to bump it up to the front of the forum isn't allowed. (A topic is officially considered old a week from the last post.)
- Double Posting - If you need to say something just simply edit your post and optionally add "Oops! Forgot this!".
- No Spam! - Posting single worded messages such as "lol", "this", and ":)" is considered spam, also messages that are filled with more than 75% of capitals or other forms of the same punctuation.
- Avoid using excessive capitals (or other characters).
- Respect all members equally.
- Stay on Topic.
- Post In Relevant Section(s).
- No flaming, or inciting hatred, no racism, discrimination, or sexism.
- No advertising or solicitation of other clans, communities, or servers.
- No typing in title font.
Strike system removed.
Please just follow the forum rules, warnings will be dealt out to those who break forum rules. Those who break the rules enough will be banned from the forums without warning.
If you have any rules to suggest or contribute, don't hesitate to suggest them to Erik!

Re: Forum Rules [Please Read Me!]
I don't quite understand this. What do you mean, the severity of the situation? If it is not so severe, do they half a strike? Or do they get more strikes the more severe the infringement is?Erik wrote:Every person will get 3 strikes, depending on the severity of the situation. After a person breaks 3 rules earning 3 strikes, they will be banned from the forums, and ultimately banned from the community.

Well if someone is spamming say.. the forum chat box, they may be banned from the chat box and receive a strike.Vince wrote:I don't quite understand this. But if someone say.. double posts on accident, or flames a little bit, that's not the worst thing that can happen, and not worthy of a strike.
Re: Forum Rules [Please Read Me!]
Is there a way to record the strikes on a player's profile? And is there a way to clear your strikes?

They're currently just imaginary strikes I suppose.Vince wrote:Is there a way to record the strikes on a player's profile? And is there a way to clear your strikes?
And I'm not sure yet.
Re: Forum Rules [Please Read Me!]
Excuse me Erik, you should add the rule: No Caps
I know that would be of the rule "No Spam!", but you should add it.
Thanks,
xJulieBar47

No, I believe it is like the Server; you can use caps but not excessively.

Re: Forum Rules [Please Read Me!]
Is it ok if I have sentences but put emoticons as well to be friendly?
or is that totally banned and known as spam?

There wasn't any real way to record the strikes, although I think the concept is good.

Re: Forum Rules [Please Read Me!]
New rule added:
- No typing in title font.
e.g. This Sentence Shows How All First Letters Of Each Word Are Capitalised, Like A Title.
It gets annoying after a while, and is not necessary.
