Failed Chat Color Plugin?

I noticed that the color plugin captain qcumber was talking about was installed yesterday. I tried to use it, but apparently there was a mistake in the code. I think Erik has taken off the plugin by now. Does this mean that the chat color idea is now trashed?

It was installed last week, and removed very recently.

I installed it to show captain_qcumber that it didn't work, the plugin is out dated so I'm afraid we cannot add it, sorry.
